A fire gutted a two-story commercial building at 1034 S. Los Angeles St., between Olympic Boulevard and 11th Street, early in the morning of Thursday, June 5. Approximately 10 ground-floor businesses, including a bridal shop and retail clothing outlets, were affected, said d'Lisa Davies, a Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman.
