(Baton Rouge) -- The Baton Rouge Metro Council gave unanimous approval Wednesday to pay a wrongly convicted man one-million dollars to settle a federal lawsuit he brought against the city and others.

BALTIMORE (AP) †A Maryland man pleaded guilty Friday in federal court to duping a Georgia computer services company into spending $32 million on nonexistent computer servers and software before leasing them back to him.
