AIRLINE Virgin Blue faces financial oblivion if jet fuel remains at record prices and the carrier cannot raise fares to cover the rise, aviation industry experts say.
"I don't think it is". With those five words Ed Balls ends any suggestion that next week's vote on extending detention without charge to 42 days should be treated as a vote of confidence in the government.
