LAKE JACKSON †Mason can be seen running, playing and barking at everything that moves as he meanders through Barbara McClatchey’s home. The black Pomeranian is so full of energy the small limp in his back left leg is hardly noticeable.
Cancer came to Barbara Patterson of Altadena. Her grandchildren, she decided, would be involved from the get-go. Patterson had a bilateral mastectomy on Jan. 29. That was her granddaughter's second birthday.
