In guidance, students completed our unit on bullying and learned about three criteria in order to be considered actual bullying: the act needs to planned and intentional, it has to occur repeatedly to an individual or others, and it must affect either/or the emotional, physical or social areas of a person's well-being.
The first- and second-grade classes have been studying about the structure, function and care of teeth. They will visit the dental office of Dr. Matthew Kubovich to end the unit. They will tour the office, observe the dental equipment and ask questions.
Matt Brubeck is a composer/performer specializing in improvisation on the cello. He also plays piano and bass. Raised on jazz and classically trained at Yale, Matt is at ease in multiple genres and has taken his cello improvisation skills into diverse musical territories.
