Omaha, NE - Week eight of the United Indoor Football season is now in the books. The conference races remain very close after this weekend's games. This weekend saw the Beef beat the Ice, the Storm slip past the Rage, the Extreme edge the Bandits and the Outlaws defeat the Wild.

Brian Leppo scored one of the biggest wins of his sprint car career Friday night in the Tommy Classic at Williams Grove Speedway. Leppo's season hasn't been the best so far, but a front-row starting spot helped him to score the $6,000 win. It was the first major event of the local sprint car season.
