With many facility enhancements occurring at Michigan International Speedway for the 2008 season, a Canadian short track is taking advantage of having a major NASCAR-sanctioned speedway in their region doing upgrades.
TORONTO (Dow Jones)--The Canadian dollar ended lower Friday, as risk aversion and profit-taking on its latest rally combined to pull the currency further back from the three-month highs achieved the previous day.
For years, they have been leading organizations behind the phrase welcome to Canada, and immigrants have turned to them for help. Yesterday, Ottawa recognized the settlement work of seven area organizations, announcing $3 million in funding to be divided up and delivered over a three-year period.
