A 56-year-old inmate was pronounced dead Saturday afternoon after Adams County Jail officers found him unconscious in his cell, one day after he'd been put there on a cocaine charge.

Foreclosure filings in Colorado continued to surge in the first quarter, but at a slower pace than last year, according to the Colorado Division of Housing.
