At the festival, in Manchester, Tennessee, the main headliners Metallica and Pearl Jam shared the six stages with newer bands like Battles, Two Gallants and Mastodon.
Though more than 150 musical acts are performing at Bonnaroo, it's possible to be entertained without hearing a note. Music, of course, is the main attraction for the tens of thousands of fans at the annual festival, held south of Nashville on a 700-acre countryside site.
