WINCHESTER City police are investigating a malicious wounding that occurred earlier this month. According to a press release, police responded to Bo's X-press at 202 E. Cork St. at 2:20 a.m. on May 4 for a report of a 21-year old female who walked into the store asking for help.
The Appalachian Uprising bluegrass festival is celebrating its seventh year. This year s event is scheduled for June 5-7. The Appalachians are rising up and they have fiddles.
